"Rattlesnakes," the record of many teens

"I do not like the idea of pride, but I'm very happy with this record," confides Lloyd Cole regarding her debut album with the Commotions "Rattlesnakes" (1984).

Often described as his masterpiece, the album was the soundtrack of many teens and set the array of music that British singer-songwriter creates today.

Songs like "Are You Ready to Be Heartbroken", "Perfect Skin" or the title track together ironic lyrics, depicting personal experiences or evoking the pop culture with a passion for live rock folk (who gained prominence in the disks of the Cole ground as the recent "Broken Record").
