I am a 'Sennheiser/Neumann' Artist. They have included me at their lounge music site.
For the record - my live microphones are all Neumann, they are the best I could find. My main studio vocal microphone is a U67 from the early 1960's. |

Title: U67?
wow - I'm certainly jealous! we used a neumann telefunken U47 on our first album (through an original Fairchild and LA2A!). such an amazing sound. now that we are recording at home the gear budget has been considerably reduced. for the home recorder on a budget I would highly recommend Studio Projects mics. they are made in China so the prices are low and they sound amazing. we have a tube T3 that is great on vocals. we also use it to mic the room when we do drum tracks. for a tube mic under $500 you can't beat it!
