Sunday 3th of April, in Bologna, Church of St.Agostino.
Fantastic live, really intense and moving. In the middle of altar of the church, Lloyd Cole seem...God, the God of music, of couse...
I stand in the third row in front of Mark Schwaber and i really enjoyed the acoustic show.
Compliments also to Mark Schwaber and Matt Cullen.
Thanks Lloyd for your music and for your cortesy after the show, signing autograph for your italian fans.

YES, great show in Bologna last Sunday, in front of an adoring audience...

I guess Mr. Cole was slightly moved by the love and affection pouring over him, as he joked "maybe we should play, in every Country, only 1 concert every 30 years"... ;-)

A truly breathtaking set with both classic and new songs re-invented as classic (to be!) folk songs. The intimate venue was a perfect setting for these new arrangments. If anyone reading this is thinking of going then don't think just go! PS. thanks Lloyd for the chat and signing my CD's. And yes, the CD from "Live at The Hammersmith Apollo" is fantastic but then so was and is Rattlesnakes (a timeless classic). A+ en Suisse...until then I will keep thinking why I (now) love folk music :o)

Indeed it was a very good night at the Bleu Lézard. I found Lloyd radiant, relaxed and witty. And obviously there was a real complicity between the guys who shared the same pleasure to be on stage.
Among the many songs that were played to-night, I give a special mention to "So you'd like to save the world" and "Lost weekend", for their original rendition. A+++

Nice concert in Amsterdam. Next time would like to see you play with a drummer though. I tried to invite you to play on the evening radio show I work for but it turned out you were only in town that one day..

Thank you for a fantastic gig in Amsterdam! You hadn't been here for a while, but it was worth the wait. Nice venue (except for that airco blowing in your neck!).
