Lloyd Cole is the somewhat legendary British singer songwriter. Selected Studies Vol. One is their joint experiments in sound, a somewhat unexpected combination of musical opportunities, brought about by them sending music to eachother. It is both a "Enosk" "Music for Airports" and a "melodic stone throwing". Piano meets glitch, Tangerine Dream meets Fennesz. However, it is a little hard to understand what they both really want in the end. This is more of a "machine sounding collection of short stories" than that of symphonic chapters with narrative connections..."
