I've always loved the recording details too, that is another reason to look forward to the two disk release of the upcoming demos and ? studio photos. Thanks for keeping us up to date, and in on the studio buzz. The method of recording quickly as Paul S said earlier is a step up from the pace of recent recordings, great to hear!

This is just a small co-incidence, and may only have any meaning to me, but in the year 1985, in the space of two months, I met both Leonard Cohen (in a Greenwich Village bar, in which he was the sole patron) and Lloyd Cole (in the toilet of the El Mocambo in Toronto) At the time I only knew of the Commotions from their photo on the cover of Rattlesnakes (and their fantastic hit song), so didn't know which one was Lloyd. I think he was taken aback a little when, while we were both relieveing ourselves, I asked if he were with the band and when would they take the stage. Lloyd just smiled and said, 'very soon.' I've never understood the appeal of Leonard Cohen, but then again I don't write songs, or poetry for that matter.

this is all very exciting. i hope for some fuzzy sounding guitars somewhere. but then i am always hoping for fuzzy sounding guitars somewhere. i am planning a full assault on our public radio station here in austin when the record comes out. i will probably try a few others as well, but ugh, the formats are sadly lacking. i think all of us should petition internet radio as well, pandora, last fm and the like. glad to hear things are swimming along. oh and i too have had miraculous results with back pain and acupuncture. and chiropractics and massage. really.
