My next electronic album, entitled ‘1D’ is pretty much ready to go to for September release on Bureau B. I have have just approved (with a tiny caveat that I can trust Master and Servant to address) the second revision of the mastering. I also approved the promo sleeve today.
Gunther, his team, and I have been working overtime to try and pull this together so that the release will tie in with my debut as electronic performer in Berlin on September 6th (more to follow on that soon).
The album is 11 tracks; some quite long, some very short. Approximately 45 minutes in all. It’s just me and my Eurorack modular synthesizer. No collaborators, no multitracking, no overdubs. Ok, there were some edits to get it to 45 minutes. Artwork is my my old pal Chris Hughes (yes, that Chris Hughes).
