The link below will take to to Time Out’s review of The Dove in Hammersmith, it is down by the water about 10 minutes walk from the roundabout. I walked past the famous Hope and Anchor on the way back, but it didn’t have a welcoming air… The Dove is a Fuller’s pub, the brewery is about a mile away and the beer is always Fresh. Not my favourite beer, but quite nice, and Fresh is good. Amazingly the food was good! I got there late and they were out of steak pie so I had Fish and Chips. I think I might have to contact the authorities because I believe it is illegal to cook fresh fish well in a pub. The staff are friendly and there is no music of any kind. Perfect really. Now, if they had beer from Yorkshire…
