Q – What sort of legal hoops do you have to jump through to get this B-sides project done? Have you been able to acquire the rights to any of the old B-sides? Will you license them?
A – The rights are owned by the old companies I worked with, for the most part, so I will have to license them. I offered the project to Universal, as they put out the Rattlesnakes box, they were not interested, saying they would rather go straight to digital. I’m fairly sure that this is not what most of you all want… so I’m working with a friend’s company in Germany who have done this before with Universal and also a company in the US who dod this sort of thing quite often, so I’m optimistic that it is not impossible. But it will take a while, I’m sure.
