Q – The Blow Monkeys were supporting you and I arrived early with the unexpected bonus of seeing you play your soundcheck. I was blown away by the songs, bought “Rattlesnakes” the next day and to this day it remains one of my favourite albums.
The gig itself turned sour when some idiots started throwing things onto the stage and I think that you (rightly) had to cut your set short.
Do you remember this gig ?
A – All I remember is getting lost repeatedly trying to find the venue, which is probably why we were still soundchecking when you arrived… Birmingham was difficult for strangers to navigate in those days.
