Q – You mentioned Bruce Springsteen a couple of times in recent postings. Have you seen him on his current accoustic tour? Any dealings with him?
A – Never seen him play or had any first hand dealings with him. Strange, as I have many of his records… I hear he was hanging around Milady’s Bar in NYC after I’d moved on.. and I did lend him my Matchless amp when he played the last NBC Letterman show, but I’m sure he doesn’t know that, as it was done through a rental company. Why my amp? Because they were quite rare in those days and Matchless asked me. Who can refuse the Boss?
