Q – You co-composed ‘Desert Rose’ which The Adventures recorded. I always found it a beautiful song, pretty heartbreaking. Have you ever recorded the number yourself and is it available in any form?
A – No and, I’m afraid, no. I did the writing in isolation, I don’t think I ever even met the band – they (or more likely, their people) just got in touch and asked if I could finish the lyric that they were having trouble with. So I did.
