Following a weekend email back and forth with Mick Glossop (my mixer) I’m looking to make my studio a possible mixing location.
I spend several hours in the morning experimenting – trying to find ways to use external EQ or guitar pedals. The solution(s) are so limited that it seems a waste of time, telephone Mick and we concur. This can only be done on an extremely limited basis.
Then I’m online auditioning audio unit plug ins for distortion. Good news here after hours of, signing up, downloading, installing I find several excellent apps. i will list them in a later post. It is interesting to see that some of the best is freeware.
