Q: Listening again to DGWOMB, a question returned that has bothered me periodically. Some time ago I read an interview in which, looking back rather ruefully on the album, you said you couldn’t now imagine who would want to listen to one of its sides. To this day I have no idea which one you were referring to (personally, I lean towards the orchestrated side). Any thoughts?
A – I changed my mind. Although it is seriously flawed, i don’t regret making it, and the good songs are amongst my best, I think. But let’s face it, I’m no Scott Walker, am I?
