Q – Hi Lloyd, Ive seen you a few times perform and you could hear a pin drop whilst you were singing which is how i like it. I was just wondering have you ever been heckled whilst performing. I’ve seen it happen a few times with other artists and felt quite uncomfortable with some of the abuse he was shouting. It must be a huge distraction and how do you deal with something like that?
A – Who hasn’t been heckled? I remember the worst time was at the Academy in NYC when I forgot some lyrics, so I’m frantically trying to remember the forgotten verse so I can sing it in place of the last one which I replaced it with, all the while some ass, who clearly knows my stuff, is baying sidestage intent upon my humiliation. Very strange. Light hearted stuff can actually help a show, sometimes the silence is a little intimidating for me also…
