Q – Just listening to a shuffle of David Sylvian songs and your songs on my player. Did you ever colaborate on anything in the early days or recently? Do you know him?
A – I loved Japan from Quiet Life to Tin Drum. Saw them on the Quiet Life tour at the Victoria Venue when I was at UCL – very glam, very good. Never met or knew DS. I don’t think we’d quite work as a team. He lives somewhere around here, I’m told. He’s never at the bar.
