Q – Hi Lloyd, I loved your Jimmy Kimmel performance (stayed up to tape it), but even as early as your Pittsburgh performance when I heard “Late Night, Early Town” for the first time, I was absolutely struck by the final evocation of the song: “. . . beneath the shadow of a mini-bar, with the promise of a spectra-vision girl.” I just can’t get over that lyric. Don’t mean to open a can of worms, but do you care to comment further on the lyric? Thanks.
A – No can do, no secrets, really. I’ve seen a few motels over the years.
