Q – Wondered whether you were aware of your old friend and colleague’s recent appearance on satellite TV channel Sky One recently? The programme was titled Out of the Bunker and was all about how golf has suddenly become cool. Lawrence was flying the Commotions flag in the programme as Perfect Skin was playing in the background at the start and he also had Rattlesnakes playing on his car stereo at one point. Did he ask you to appear?
A – I’m aware of the show. I haven’t seen it yet. LD said he was hitherto unaware of what a ‘mincer’ he was. Maybe we should have warned him. I was not asked but he knew that wouldn’t have worked anyway. I suspect this may not be the last you see of him..
