Thanks to Paris photographer Wiliam Soragna for allowing me to display his excellent work in the new photo set Paris 2013-14. William was at La Maroquinerie and his photos capture the mood very nicely. It was certainly the sweatiest and possibly the most exciting show I’ve played in many years. The following year I returned to Paris to perform a considerably more reserved show at La Gaîté lyrique and William was there again. These photos may be notable as the only published evidence of an awful jacket I purchased in Amsterdam to cover for my beloved Gigli courduroy which I had forgotten backstage in Weissenhäuser Strand. The excellent Rolling Stone Weekender team found it and sent it to me and this hideous jacket need never be seen again.
