I wasn’t even aware that this song was about Margaret Thatcher (or maybe I did know, and had just forgotten). I would’ve thought a more obvious track would’ve been Morrissey’s “Margaret on the Guillotine”, or “Celebrate the Day After You” by the Blow Monkeys, or just about anything by Billy Bragg! Still, it was great to hear this classic song on the radio, even if it was just a few bars with Jeremy Vine talking over the top.
