Q – “don’t get wierd on me babe” is one of my all-time favorites. A few years ago I read in in issue of Granta about Raymond Carver and his wife saying to each other during their difficult times, “don’t get wierd on me, Babe. Don’t get wierd.” Is that coincidence?
