Q – Some time ago, WXRT radio in Chicago played one of your songs that is still haunting me. I didn’t catch the name, but the phrase “Down on Ruemark Avenue” appears several times throughout the song. I’ve searched
the internet for years to no avail. Can you tell me if it is in fact your material and where I can buy it? Thanks
A – ‘Rue Morgue Avenue’ (referenced from Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues (Dylan)) is the street you’re after. I think it’s in New Orleans. It’s in a song called ‘Tell Your Sister’ from ‘Don’t Get Weird on me , Babe’, my 1991 album.
