My golfing friends visited Spice Club on our first night in the Wirrall. Frankly we weren’t expecting much. Quite wrong – pretty much everything was excellent and the portions were so generous that 3 meals could easily feed 4 people. My Balti, which I asked to be ‘Madras hot’ was exactly that and fragrant without burning my head off. All the party seemed happy and to top it off they gave us all a free after dinner drink, and we hadn’t really spent that much money, per head it came to 26 pounds with all drinks (much Cobra and some wine) including tip. Great and great value.
