Q – How could I think the strings were gear?

2 inherent low kbps phase distortion
3 rough mix

A – Sorry. I was joking, but the gear in question (Garritan personal orchestra) will not be on the album credits, which will say ‘The Establishment Section’ or something like that.. On IDSIC it was a small section – 4 instruments. Sections will vary from song to song but I’ll try to keep them as small as possible. I was thinking they were sounding great, but I was worried because I knew they were not ‘real’ so I couldn’t trust my judgement, so I asked one of my most trusted producer pals to listen to an mp3 or two, and he thought they sounded lovely..
