There is a strange rumour I heard or read (maybe in some magazinereview) here in Stockholm about “Music in a foreign language”, that the title is inspired by you hearing the Stockholm-based band Bob Hund?
Is that true? I know it sounds strange.
Have you heard them? Maybe you like them and the rumour is true?
A – Absolutely true. The song is not ‘about’ bob hund, but my enjoyment of their music – they are my favourite rock band – had more than a subliminal impact on the birth of that song. And ‘I heard a voice, resonant..’ etc is a direct reference.
