Q – I have a copy of the Love Story album on cassette and Track 1 of Side 2 is printed on the cassette as The June Bride as opposed to it’s correct title, Unhappy Song. Was this the original working title of the song?
A – My record company got it in their heads that ‘Unhappy Song’ was a bad title and I would sell less records if the song kept it’s name. Eventually everyone saw sense, but a few must have slipped out. Maybe they were right..??
