Q – I read your comment about not having a favourite album for fear of offending one of them, but just between us, is there a lyric or even a turn of phrase more than any other which you put to paper and thought ” thats it – that exactly catches what I wanted to say” ?
A – I was singing last night and ‘White Collar – Turncoat’ struck me as not bad, from ‘Hey Rusty’. I guess my favourite (half) rhyme is ‘She’s fallen for his new age verse, I’m holding back her level of consciousness’ from ‘Another Lover’ which is about my favourite whole lyric, these days, obviously it changes.
