Q – Hi. Is “Tie Me Down” an original LC song or is it a cover? It’s not listed under songs on your site which makes me think perhaps it’s not an original ditty of yours. It’s so catchy, it should have been an A-side.
A – It is original. I guess I don’t think I ever really finished it (the recording is a demo) and it only made it’s way onto an obscure b-side because of record co needing so many bloody songs and there weren’t enough.. The melody is a reworking of the refrain from Backwoods on etc.
