Q – You have mentioned using old tube DI boxes for live
and studio. Could you name the make and model of a few? I’d love to get some info on these, but have never
seen any around. No hurry. Thank you.
A – I’ve always used the Demeter boxes. Never found anything better. I use phantom powered DIs these days for convenience, and because I want to travel light (no power transformers), but in an ideal world we’d have 9 of these on stage.
