Was there ever a Paul Hardiman version of Easy Pieces? That would be something to put on a double sided reissue of Easy Pieces, I say!
Jesus Said and Perfect Blue are both wondrously produced by P.H., and I just can´t help thinking about this conspiracy theory of the existence of “Easy Pieces – The Lost Album”..

A – No. We did one recording session with PH after Rattlesnakes. Brand New Friend – slower, no r’n’b vocals, lower key, bad singing as I recall. Grace, different arrangement, incomplete. And the afformentioned P Blue and Jesus Said. After the session Polydor pretty much pulled the plug on us working with PH.
