A – I thought Dwight was funny for a minute, in a Billy Idol goes to Nashville sort of way. I like that song about a long white Cadillac. Sadly I know far too little about C’n’W (I know the usual suspects via Kris, Bob, Willy, Byrds, etc) but I’m about to put this right, inspired by Rosanne Cash on the radio a day or so ago talking about her new album ‘The List’ – http://rosannecash.com/indexee.php/music/ – her dad gave her a list of 100 essential songs she should listen to when she was 18, this album includes 12 of them. I wonder if we could see the whole list? I for one would buy all 100 and work from there. As it is I’ll buy this record and see if I can’t hound her into revealing the whole list. I’m sure it would be all over the web if she did and that could only be good for Country music.
