A – I wrote a fair amount of ‘Rattlesnakes’ on aeroplanes, I’d never flown before.. novelty seems to bee quite a stimulus. I write anywhere, really, I carry a notebook or at least a pen and paper pretty much everywhere I go. I certainly have written drunk and sober. Usually, I need to edit the drunk stuff as when drunk I tend to be more hansome and considerably more daring, and this is often reflected, usually to the detriment of the song.
