When I put together my home studio in 1992, I had Eventides and Lexicons and more, and I never really knew what I was doing with any of them. Today my preferred reverbs and delays are guitar pedals. The Strymon El Capistan and Blue Sky are so good, I decided to add their big brothers, and have them connected to my mixer. It took me about an hour to figure out how they work and what they can do for me… of course I don’t “wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger”… I just wish I was a little less stupid, then.
