Mixing Stage 1 final day – loose ends.

Mixing – Day 2. Dull stuff, really. But I like the method we’re using – we’re going through each song and getting a basic sound for all the instruments, panning positions and a very rough balance.

Mixing begins. I have a headache from watching golf with my pal Derek, and I’m tired, but I have to get started early to get the hard drive and DVDs to Mick Glossop. I call Mick at 9 to see if his UK to US power adapter is three pin, and it isn’t.

File Management – The Burning!. So I hadn’t really thought about my flight to London which is at 8.15 AM from Boston which means we need to leave here at 4.15 in the morning! I’m guessing with all these DVDs I need to burn (the average song folder is a bit too big for 2 DVDs) it might not be worth trying to get any sleep.

Slowly getting somewhere, I think, plus file management.

The Double Happiness lyric/vocal seems fine, and at worst the sound might not match and I can fix that in London at Mick’s …
