The first half of the day was spent in the Establishment playing around with the string/keyboard ideas for Myrtle and Wine.
The second half trying to figure how how to approach No Truck, which needs to be drum machine (at least to start with based). I spend several hours trying to play it on piano (it was written on acoustic guitar) before giving up and moving to electric guitar. I map out a basic arrangement and tempo and scratch my head some more. i thought this would be simple and maybe it would be with acoustics, but I don't want that. |
